History of Kayakpsych:

Kayakpsych was officially formed in November of 2007.  The Kayakpsych pre-cursor was a non-profit organization called Co-OPP (cooperative of passionate paddlers) which was made by some friends in Maine.  The whole basis was Paddling because it was fun.  Although Co-OPP still exists, one of its members formed Kayakpsych.  The name Kayakpsych comes from the owners passion for kayaking and career in the Psychology field.  That and you have to be a little crazy to paddle some of the things that we do.  The progression of Kayakpsych came from repping Eskimo boats and then dealing Eskimo Boats.  Since its conception, Kayakpsych has put together its own logo, t-shirts, demos at festivals and pool sessions, and continues to support its local whitewater paddlers and organizations.
